Note:   John Parker was a builder and bricklayer. He apparently fell on hard
times, was possibly a drinker and gambler. He committed suicide by jumping
from second story of his house, leaving his wife and children destitute.

Note:   Mary Parker, born 1839 (deduced from census), no birth registration or
christening found. Mary is recorded as living at home in 1851 (census
address as above), but has left by 1861. The only further record found
is in the 1889 Barnardo's document where she is noted as having married
a Mr. Turner (dealer) and was living in Chevely, Suffolk/Cambridgshire
(boundaries have changed). She had five children. No marriage
registration nor any Suffolk census details (no address).
